a year in the lives of two trees, 2020-21
At the side of my garden in North Carolina is a wonderful gnarly oak tree that I can see from the kitchen window. This Spring I saw little dangling clusters of flowers and realized there are probably many things I don't notice about it as the seasons change. I decided to take a quick photo of it once a week for a year. I mentioned this to a friend back in the UK and we decided to make it a joint project, beginning the weekend of the Summer Solstice.
Each tree is being photographed from the same location each weekend for a year beginning Sunday, June 21st, 2020.
